Hypnose Cologne by Lancome, Constructed so as to deliberately mix the bracing yet soft effects of a fougere (bergamot, lavender, coumarin, geranium, oakmoss...) and the warm deeper effects of an oriental. The perfume has notes of mint, bergamot, calabrian mandarin, chinese cardamom seed, essence of provençal lavender, amber, musk, and essence of indonesian patchouli.

"One of the best Lancome scents. I love it. I think it's very unique and daring. There really isn't a way to describe the actual scent except that it's nothing that I have ever smelled before. It has a warm, clean smell. It is a little strong so you only need a little bit. I received a sample of this in a Lancome gift bag and I really like it and have already used the entire sample."

"To describe Hypnose's scent as rotten fruit masked by vanilla (I'm paraphrasing here) is so ludicrous, I had to write a review myself. I like Hypnose a lot, and although its not my all-time favorite, I feel it needs to be defended. It's definitely a unique scent. To me the scent is a little powdery, and call me crazy, but I get a hint of those old time violet candies that come in the silver and purple box. I know some people hate them -- so if you do, maybe this one is not for you. The bottle and color are beautiful and since I got it, I've been wearing it most often. At any rate, if you like trying new scents certainly check this one out because it's not something you've likely smelled before -- and its far from rotting fruit."

"this perfume is kinda strong for me but i really like it. this perfume is great and a pinch of goodness and goodness into it for me. i fell in love it on sunday. perfumes are love and good for really me. perfumes like this one is yum-o. the perfume smells you are on the sand. yum-o perfumes. well this perfume guys out there you better get this for your wifes. lancome is perfect for little kids and perfect teens who know there perfume. teens out there if you like this one it is great for teens who know there smells and there perfumes."
