"I have been wearing this since 1985, and my husband, my friends, and so many other friends of mine, they adore it. It is not over-powering, but then Magie Noire is for the outgoing and excellent personality of the perfect woman. Now I do wash my clothes, take some to the cleaners, and the scent is defiantly still on the clothing. I love this so much, that is is wonderful and my NO.1 perfume... I love the original bottle."

"i've been a life-long perfume-a-holic, but this has been my favorite perfume since i started wearing it in 1984! magie noire means "black magic," so anyone expecting a light and breezy fragrance will not enjoy this. but anyone interested in a heady, mysterious, and sexy fragrance, with spicy oriental overtones, will adore this fragrance. it's sweet and lingers a v e r y long time (i had a sweater that always smelled of the fragrance, even though i sent it through the cleaners!) and no, i don't pour a ton of this on. in fact, a little goes a long way, and you might find you have the bottle for a long time (though you ought not keep perfume for too long or it starts to smell off.) definitely my favorite!"
